Tour El Tigre, Argentine Tradition

Would you like to see one of the most beautiful and colourful places?

Simply Buenos Aires invites you to discover El Tigre, an impressive place on the delta of Rio de La Plata with a great boom of tourists. The town sits on an island created by several small streams and rivers and was founded in 1820. Its name derives from the “tigers” or jaguars that were hunted there.

You can travel on a big launch or just hire your own small boat. After the boat trip, we will visit the Puerto de Frutos (Fruit Port), where a crafts fair is located. Here you can find all the Argentinian souvenirs you can dream of. Mugs for the famous “mate” tea, leather products and much more!

Do you enjoy the mate tea as the Argentines do? Then a visit to the local Museo del Mate (Mate Museum) is the perfect end of your trip!

Prices are much cheaper than in the shopping malls down town, so wait for souvernir shopping until you visit El Tigre.
